Durian Cake 2


Sponge Cake
(A) 8 eggs yolks
140g water
180g soya lite or sunflower oil
220g optima flour
140g softasik or super fine cake flour


(B) 8 eggs white
1/2 tsp cream of tatar
140g sugar

Method
1. Mix (A) together.
2. Whisk egg white with cream of tatar for one nimute. Thean add in suger and whisk untill stiff.
3. Pour the flour mixture (A) into eggs white and fold till mix well.
4. Preheat and bake in oven 150C for one hour or untill cook.
Durian Filling
900 ml whiped cream
700 g fresh durian.

Method
1. Whisk fresh cream till stff in medium speed & mix in the freash durian.

Apples Pie

Pie Crust
2 tablespoons costar sugar
1 teaspoon salt
350g all-purpose flour
226g butter, cold
1/4 cup cold water or cold mil

Apples Filling

5 medium apples, peeled and sliced
4 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

1. Combine the apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice in pan. Mix well to to boil for 3 minute and put aside until crust is ready.
2. To make the crust combine the sugar, salt and flour in a bowl. Cut in butter and add water/milk until the dough starts to come together. Separate the dough into two even lumps, then gently squeeze each into a disc about 1-inch thick. Wrap each in plastic, then refrigerate for 30 minutes.
3. Divide in half and shape into a ball. Roll dough on a floured surface. Line pie plate with half of the dough.
4. Fill pie plate with the apple mixture.
5. Cover with the second crust.Trim the overhang of dough to z-inch beyond the edge of the pan. Fold the edge of the dough under itself, pinching to seal. Using either a fork or your fingers, crimp the edge of the dough around the pie and against the top of the pie pan. Brush with egg york if desired.
6. Preheat oven and bake at 200c for 35-40 minutes.

Butter Cereal Prawn


Clean & prepared 1kg fresh prawn
1 packet of Butter Cereal Prawn - Seasoning Powder
(Label above - can buy from most supermarket's) Sorry did't notice the actul brand name
8 curry leaves
2-3 small chili (chili padi)
2tbs cokking oil
100g butter.


Fried prawn with cooking oil till cook & put a side

Melt butter & fried with few curry leaves & chili till fragrance

Add in the cook prawn & 1 packet of butter cereal prawn & mixed well.

Ready to served ... yummy & easy too. Recomended dish for potluck!

Fried Mushroom

Prepared eggs with pepper + fine salt,
fresh mushroom, corn flour + a bit of chicken stock

Fresh mushroom or you may use the mushroom stalk only (even better)


1. Get ready hot oil in medium fire
2. Fresh mushroom dip into eggs
3. Next dip into corn flour
4. Place into hot oil and fry till golden brown and cispy.

Ready to be served.
