Happy Valentine's Day - Chinese Steamed Cake

After steaming.

Before steaming


7 eggs
1 1/4 cups white sugar
2 1/2 tbs milk + 3 tbs water
1 1/2 cups self raising flour
1/2 tsp double action baking powder
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1. Line a Heart shape pan with waxed paper.
2. Separate the eggs. Place the yolks in a large bowl. . 3.Shit together the flour and the baking powder; mixed over the egg york, milk & water, vanilla into mixture.
3. Whip the egg whites with the sugar. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed until the mixture has increased about three times in volume.
4.Fold into yolk base. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
4. Place the pan into the steamer. Steam for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack
